Every child is unique. On average, children up to the age of 7 need at least 14 hours of sleep daily, which is perfectly normal as they require lots of energy for growth during these formative years. Tips for Better and Healthier Sleep for Children
1. Create a calm and dark sleep environment.
When putting your child to bed, make sure the room is dark, quiet, and calm. If your child is afraid of the dark, leave a small nightlight on so they can feel secure and know where they are when they wake up. And of course, finish with a goodnight kiss and a warm hug to make them feel safe and loved.
2. Dress them appropriately for sleep.

3. Provide a comfortable bed.

- 6 months: 22 hours 30 minutes
- 12 months: 20 hours
- 24 months: 17–18 hours
- 34 months: 16 hours 30 minutes
- 4 years: 15 hours
- 5 years: 14 hours
- 7 years: 12 hours 30 minutes
